Tap Through the Fear of Asking for Help

Do you struggle with asking for and/ or accepting help? Have you been let down in the past, and that prevents you from reaching out for support in the present?

I have definitely been there. During my husband's last deployment, I really struggled with asking for help. I felt like I had to do it all on my own. I was exhausted and completely burned out.

In an energy healing session, the practitioner said, "Lauren, you can do this deployment differently." I'm not sure why, but those words stuck with me. My mantra became: I choose to do this deployment differently!

I got over my fear of asking for and accepting help, and I found so much love on the other side. When mentioning to a friend the challenges of trying to have 2 kids at 2 different activities at the same time, she offered to drive my daughter to and from dance class each week. I took the opportunity to lean in and I graciously accepted. That act of kindness was such a blessing, and she often shared how happy she was to be able to do something to help lighten my load.

Your friends and family love you. They want to support you. Are you ready to be open to that? Let's tap!
